Play for Education 2004

March 18, 2004

Dear Member of Belmopan’s Business Community:

Its time to play again and we have something to offer you!  It will be our pleasure to feature your business/project during one or more TV airings of our Play for Education, Belmopan Site Competition.

Our academy’s annual Play For Education - Belmopan Site Competition starts on Friday April 23th  and concludes Friday May 21rd..   Any child between the ages of 5 and 16 years may participate.  There is no charge or special requirements for children to play in this program. In fact, Play For Education contributes financially to the education/school of each child that participates in the games.

Games will take place on Fridays only, starting at 4:00 p.m.  All our games will be video taped and televised. Over 280 students are expected to participate in Play for Education this year.  Students, parents, relatives, friends and football enthusiast will watch the games on TV.   We extend to you the opportunity for your business to be featured during one or more airings of our Competition games.

The production and airing of these games must be paid for along with the cost of equipment, coaching, refereeing, uniforms and other administrative costs.  We hope to raise the necessary funds by way of selling commercials during the airings.  To produce your TV commercial and air it for the entire 5 shows, we are asking only $350.00.  In addition, you will get a copy of your commercial on CD or on Video cassette. Commercials may be presented in any creative way.  We are ready to discuss and work on your commercial when you call.  Our students will recognize your kindness and contribution to their development. Please note that uniform is one of our biggest cost in the running of this competition.  Businesses are therefore free to donate one or more sets of uniforms with their names/logos printed on the uniform.

If there is anything that the Belmopan Football Academy can do in cooperation with your business, we will be happy to act at your request.  If you wish to contribute ideas, in kind or financially to this venture, please feel free to contact us at our telephone number stated in our letterhead.

Sincerely,

Paul M. Morgan Sr.,
